Rapid Deployment

MCL has developed appropriate tools to follow a “continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD)” in DevOps architecture. The Nebula framework provides additional tools for publishing changes using an “application as data” model. These tools provide both live production deployments and quick upgrades without any manual intervention. In addition, these tools can deliver targeted updates, to specified modules, without having to do a systemwide update.

The architecture of Nebula Framework provides rapid delivery of all updates and revisions using “Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery” approach. All changes are delivered in automatically in minutes rather than hours or days.

This framework is used for development of all pages (User Interface). Nebula is available to end customers to add customized pages or integrate with third-party vendors or cloud services. Users can add new “methods” or reuse existing methods (methods are built using database tables, queries, stored procedures, DLL methods, web services APIs, or methods already defined in Nebula framework). Nebula facilitates rapid building of pages with little to no code using JavaScript for UI development. This architecture facilitates rapid building of new pages for customer specific business needs.

Report Designer: A report designer is available to build new reports or customize reports already available.

APIs:

JSON API: A formal JSON schema is available on how to make JSON requests. In UI, JSON request/response is used to perform all functions. Every click in the UI generates a JSON request and gets a JSON response. These request/responses pairs are open and available to see how the UI interacts with Cloud web service, and may be used as examples.
REST API: REST API is available. Although REST APIs are popular, they are less powerful and flexible than the Nebula JSON APIs.
